About the role
Ensemble Performing Arts is looking for a creative, professional General Manager to oversee daily operations at Bucktown Music in Chicago. You will be the primary point of contact for students, families, and teachers, ensuring smooth and efficient studio management.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and emails from students and families regarding enrollment, scheduling, and information requests.
- Hire, schedule, and support teachers, helping them manage student calendars.
- Maintain the school’s website, newsletters, and social‑media presence.
- Assist payroll by verifying attendance and approving time‑off requests.
- Organize student performances and community events.
- Ensure facilities are stocked and teachers have necessary equipment and materials.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Organized, motivated self‑starter with a strong customer‑service mindset.
- Interest in music and music education is a plus.
