Multimedia Designer

About the role

HD Supply is looking for a Multimedia Designer who creates polished video, motion graphics and photography for internal communications, marketing, recruiting, leadership messaging, trade shows, social media and digital channels. The role also supports production needs such as camera operation, lighting, audio, equipment setup, studio preparation and field shoots.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video for internal communications, marketing campaigns, recruiting, customer-facing messages, trade shows and digital channels.
• Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, explainer animations and branded visual assets with Adobe After Effects and related tools.
• Capture, edit and retouch photography for internal comms, marketing materials, recruiting campaigns, social media and corporate publications.
• Manage recurring employee headshot sessions to a consistent, professional standard aligned with company brand standards.
• Support video productions by helping with camera operation, lighting, audio capture, equipment setup, studio preparation and production logistics for corporate and field shoots.
• Organize, catalog and maintain video footage, photography assets, project files and digital asset libraries.

Required profile

• Typically a BS/BA in a related discipline, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of related experience.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field; certification is required in some areas.
• Work is mostly independent, with guidance only on unusual or complex problems, and occasional training of junior staff.

Required skills

• Video editing, preferably strong in Adobe Premiere, and motion graphics.
• Hands-on production support experience.
• Adobe After Effects and related creative tools.
