Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

About the role

3M is looking for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join its Clarkston, GA facility. This full‑time position works across all shifts and is responsible for keeping production and auxiliary equipment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using blueprints, manuals and online resources.
• Apply advanced skills in pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, welding and electrical systems.
• Participate in required safety and regulatory training.
• Follow all plant safety rules, wear required PPE, and document labor time in work orders.
• Take initiative to resolve problems with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (or higher).
• Minimum two years experience as a skilled technician.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work onsite in Clarkston, GA.

Required skills

• Maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, welding and electrical systems.
• Ability to work on CNC machining centers and supporting equipment.
• Strong math ability and complex blueprint reading.
• Proficient computer skills for maintenance documentation.
