Quality Inspector – 2nd/3rd Shift

About the role

3M is hiring Quality Inspectors for its Clarkston, GA facility on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves ensuring products meet order specifications, customer requirements, and company quality standards while working onsite in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products to verify compliance with order specifications, customer requirements, and 3M’s quality control system.
• Ensure shipping and packing processes meet legal and company standards.
• Detect minute non‑conformances such as cracks, voids, or tool marks using visual inspection techniques.
• Operate small hand tools and process equipment with dexterity.
• Use precision measurement tools and good judgment to prevent equipment damage and maintain efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (or higher) completed prior to start.
• Previous quality inspection experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass 3M‑selected testing as part of the hiring process.
• Security clearance and aerospace/defense experience are a plus.
