Assembly Technician – 2nd/3rd Shift

About the role

3M is hiring Assembly Technicians for its Clarkston, GA facility on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The position is full‑time and offers a starting hourly rate of $21.38, three weeks of paid vacation, health, vision and dental coverage from day one, a 401(k) match and an employee stock discount.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and package manufactured products according to established procedures.
• Accurately record production data.
• Perform casting, drying, sintering and impregnation processes for radomes.
• Operate heavy equipment such as furnaces, forklifts, presses and pallet movers.
• Identify production problems and collaborate with process engineers to resolve them.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (or higher) completed before start date.
• At least six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
