Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Knock is looking for a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of its Bridge Loan portfolio. This remote position will serve borrowers from funding through payoff while ensuring compliance, risk management, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own a high‑volume loan portfolio and act as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the servicing process.
• Partner with title companies and borrowers to track closings, issue payoff statements, and confirm loans are paid in full.
• Monitor loans approaching due dates, flag delinquency risks, and work with Listing Operations and Finance to resolve issues.
• Follow up on outstanding payments, track open items, and escalate unresolved balances to management.
• Ensure all servicing actions comply with company policies and state/national regulations, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Liaise with third‑party vendors to manage lien releases, paid‑in‑full, and default processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements, support new system adoption, and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Lead special projects, conduct research, and present data‑driven recommendations.
