Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this position you will ensure that cost and expense documents are accurately recorded and that revenue and expenses are reflected in compliance with legislation, company policies, and generally accepted accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify sales revenues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive financial, cost, and financing information to the Sales Manager or immediate superior.
• Handle timely bank deposits for sales proceeds and record them accurately.
• Process payments for approved expenditures, following written approvals and maintaining proper accounting records.
• Maintain the annual cost budget sheet, monitor costs against budget limits, and alert superiors of potential overruns.
• Manage administrative affairs related to accounting and follow up on related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or high‑school graduation.
• At least one year of experience in finance, accounting, monthly close, or financial reporting.
• Valid work permit or citizenship (the company does not sponsor permits).
• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and ability to make effective decisions.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of analyzing data.
• Excellent command of English and the local language(s).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
