MIG Welder / Fabrication Technician

About the role

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders / Fabrication Technicians for a full‑time manufacturing position in our indoor shop in Webster, NY. The role combines welding, fabrication, and assembly of light‑gauge steel framing systems used in commercial construction across the Northeast.

Key responsibilities

• MIG weld steel framing components and fabricated assemblies (mild steel).
• Read and work from blueprints and shop drawings.
• Fabricate and assemble steel framing systems.
• Operate saws, presses, grinders, and hand tools.
• Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with general production, material handling, and packaging.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Required profile

• Proven MIG welding experience and ability to pass a weld test.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong measuring and layout skills.
• Self‑starter with reliable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb.
