Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate – Employment Litigation

About the role

Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Employment Litigation team in Stamford, CT. The associate will represent a diverse portfolio of public and private employers in all phases of employment litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior litigators to develop defense strategies for employment actions.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in court, administrative agencies, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct legal research, analyze employment records, and interact with employment experts.

Required profile

• Admission to practice in Connecticut (admission in New York preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and interact confidently with clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in legal research tools and drafting complex litigation documents.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
