Mid-Level Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney

About the role

A growing national real estate finance practice is seeking a mid‑level associate to join its transactional team. The role offers ownership of sophisticated commercial real estate financing transactions while gaining exposure to a broad range of financing structures. Atlanta is the preferred location, with opportunities in other major U.S. markets.

Key responsibilities

• Represent lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers, and other market participants in complex commercial real estate financing transactions.
• Handle loan originations, refinancings, restructurings, workouts, preferred equity financings, warehouse lending structures, and repurchase facilities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated financing documentation for single‑asset, portfolio, revolving, and secondary transactions.
• Manage due diligence, transaction execution, and coordinate all aspects of complex closings.
• Take meaningful responsibility for transactions, identify and resolve issues efficiently, and collaborate closely with clients and colleagues throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of commercial real estate finance experience, preferably representing lenders and/or borrowers.
• Juris Doctor degree and prior experience working in a law firm.
• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the attorney will practice.
• Strong academic credentials, excellent drafting and communication skills, and commercial problem‑solving ability.
• Proven ability to navigate complex transactions efficiently.

What we offer

• Salary range $240,000–$410,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Discretionary performance‑based bonus.
