About the role
The Merchandising Planner drives merchandise strategy and optimizes inventory to exceed financial goals. You will create the assortment architecture, develop seasonal buy plans, and collaborate across functions to bring product strategies to life.
Key responsibilities
- Build weekly financial sales, gross margin and inventory plans at the item level.
- Create item‑level pricing strategies that maximize sales and profit.
- Reforecast in‑season performance, present revised projections and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Design allocation strategies that align merchandise plans with store inventory needs.
- Plan product assortments (item, color, size) for each category.
- Manage replenishment plans to ensure optimal sales and prevent stock‑outs.
- Place orders for seasonal and replenishment buys.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Store Operations and other cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2‑4 years of experience in planning or merchandising.
- High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, mathematical and financial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

What we offer
- Competitive salary range of $100,000‑$115,000 annually.
