Medical Receptionist / Scheduler

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist/Scheduler to be the first point of contact for patients at our busy clinic in Provo. The role combines front‑desk reception duties with appointment scheduling, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, register them, verify information and collect co‑pays.
• Answer inbound calls, respond to texts and faxes, and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update scheduling systems.
• Provide administrative support to providers and clinical staff in a fast‑paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, billing and clinic policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical reception or customer service.
• Fluent English; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette, strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude, reliability and a team‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
