Medical Billing Specialist – Revenue Cycle Management

About the role

Reliant Healthcare Group is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to lead full‑cycle revenue management in its Katy office. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable, payer follow‑ups and claim resolution to secure timely reimbursements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Revenue Cycle Management processes.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations for commercial and Medicaid MCO payers.
• Follow up on accounts receivable older than 30 days and resolve outstanding balances.
• Post payments, perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate billing documentation.
• Review and correct claims to prevent denials and interpret payer contracts.
• Communicate with payers, patients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience with RCM responsibilities.
• Experience in AR follow‑up, medical collections and multi‑location healthcare billing.
• Knowledge of Medicaid MCO billing is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD‑9, ICD‑10 and DRG coding.
• Ability to post payments and reconcile accounts.
• Experience with AR follow‑up and medical collections.
• Understanding of medical terminology and office workflows.
