Mechanical Superintendent

About the role

Diversified Construction & Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead its Mechanical Division. The role involves overseeing mechanical work on construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers, clients and other management to deliver projects on budget and on time.
• Lead and support a crew of workers, managing schedules, progress and resource allocation.
• Enforce safety procedures, educate new employees and promote a strong safety culture.
• Adjust operations as needed to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Maintain communication with the workforce to foster transparency and accountability.
• Coordinate supply deliveries with vendors and keep accurate job‑site logs.
• Monitor construction equipment, ensure safe operation and identify maintenance issues.
• Travel to client locations as required.
