About the role
Diversified Construction & Design is seeking an Architectural/Civil Executive Project Manager to join its Executive Team. The role combines business development, client relationship oversight, commercial management, risk mitigation and strategic leadership for commercial and residential building projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with architects, engineers, owners, developers, general contractors, governmental officials and other decision‑makers to identify and secure architectural and civil construction opportunities.
- Provide strategic oversight of Master Service Agreements and project‑specific contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk management standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and drive the financial performance of assigned client portfolios, negotiating commercial terms and achieving revenue, margin and cash‑flow targets.
- Identify, evaluate and manage commercial, contractual, design, operational, financial, schedule and site‑condition risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Participate as a member of the Executive Team, contributing to strategic planning, market insight and long‑term business objectives for architectural growth and civil capabilities.
Required profile
- 10‑15 years progressive experience in architectural construction operations, project management or executive leadership, delivering commercial or residential building projects.
- 3‑5 years experience managing client relationships, developing repeat business and supporting business development within construction markets.
- Demonstrated experience managing project scope, estimating, pre‑construction, design/constructability coordination, subcontractors, schedule, risk and change.
Required skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and business‑development abilities.
- Ability to balance client expectations, design, constructability, operational priorities, contractual obligations, schedule and financial objectives.
