Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

The Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for day‑to‑day execution and control of heavy industrial mechanical and multi‑discipline construction projects, from handoff by Preconstruction through mobilization, field execution, commissioning support, closeout and final financial reconciliation. The role ensures safety, quality, schedule, cost and client commitments are met while coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors and owners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff, establish project controls and align the team around the approved execution plan.
• Direct daily field activities, resolve issues quickly and maintain clear accountability across office and field teams.
• Monitor schedule performance, coordinate resources and recover delays when work falls behind.
• Maintain disciplined budget control, manage change orders, cash flow and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Integrate safety and quality standards, coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with company programs and client requirements.

Required profile

• 7+ years progressive experience in heavy industrial construction, with at least 3 years in project management or a comparable leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage mechanical or multi‑discipline construction projects, including contracts, scheduling, cost control and change management.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud or Autodesk Build.
