Measure Technician (In-Home Advisor)

About the role

The Measure Technician (In-Home Advisor) is a part-time, field-based role supporting customers in Gig Harbor, WA and surrounding areas. Working independently in a traveling field capacity, the associate performs in-home measure appointments, provides accurate measurements and calculations, reviews quotes and coordinates installations within the Measurement Services center Field Services Organization. The position reports directly to the Assistant Market Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments as efficiently and accurately as possible (about 60% of time).
• Ask customers open-ended questions about their projects and product needs, describe product features and project steps, and identify opportunities to engage customers in other services programs (about 35% of time).
• Cooperate with associates, supervisors and managers on other work activities (about 4%).
• Follow policies and procedures and adhere to the work schedule (about 1%).
• Travel between locations and use company-issued devices; may also support company locations.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED, and 1+ year of previous related work experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation; travel between locations required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift or carry material of moderate weight (8-20 pounds); conditions are indoors and may cause mild discomfort occasionally.

Pay range: $20.00 - $24.00.
