About the role
The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a part‑time Math Tutor to support students at the North Metro Academic Success Center. The role blends in‑person assistance with virtual tutoring via Microsoft Teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group math tutoring for enrolled students.
- Deliver instruction both on‑site at the North Metro campus and remotely through Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with the Director of Academic Success to align tutoring strategies with curriculum goals.
Required profile
- Associate degree in mathematics or a closely related field (Bachelor preferred).
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Ability to work during normal business hours and adapt to a hybrid schedule.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for virtual tutoring.
