Math Instructor

About the role

Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas is seeking a dedicated Math Instructor to join its Arts and Sciences department. This non‑tenure track faculty position involves teaching developmental and college‑level mathematics while fostering a learner‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a variety of mathematics courses following the departmental curriculum.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date student records.
• Collaborate professionally with fellow faculty and staff.
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance student success.
• Perform additional duties as required by the department.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in mathematics (preferred).
• Prior teaching experience, ideally in a community college setting (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into instruction.
• Willingness to teach a wide range of classes.
• Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
