Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician (Full‑Time Academic)

About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center are seeking a board‑certified/board‑eligible Maternal‑Fetal Medicine physician to join a growing full‑service academic practice. The position offers a consultative‑only model with outpatient focus and the chance to lead innovation across North Louisiana, Southern Arkansas and East Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert perinatal consultations for complex pregnancies across two hospital sites, with inpatient consults only.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, and other MFM physicians to deliver comprehensive care.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout the tri‑state region, leveraging the Ochsner network.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine.
• Experience in an academic or consultative obstetrics setting, with a focus on outpatient care.
• Commitment to teaching residents and fellows in a competitive ACGME‑accredited program.
