Material Handler I - 1st Shift

About the role

Stryker's distribution team works with products that improve and save lives by providing customers with the best equipment. The distribution environment is fast paced, and this Material Handler I position is onsite, Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Pay is $20.75 per hour plus bonus potential.

Key responsibilities

• Pick orders based on the location and product requested.
• Prepare and print shipping labels for the customer's preferred carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
• Assemble and fill boxes and cartons with items to be shipped.
• Verify order accuracy by matching quantities and types.
• Check packaging procedures to ensure shipment safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Required profile

• Preferred: H.S. Diploma/GED.
• Preferred: manufacturing experience or 1 year of related work experience.
• Preferred: experience operating RF scanners, shipping, and order processing and shipping coordination.
• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends when required.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-50 lbs frequently, and occasionally 50-75 lbs; the job involves prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting and standing.
