Material Handler 2

About the role

The Material Handler 2 supports the group lead in preparing the production line, ensuring the correct components are issued according to the bill of materials, and keeping the line supplied while removing waste as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the group lead in managing workflow within the assigned manufacturing cell to meet daily production objectives.
• Supervise workflow, move full pallets of finished goods to proper locations, and monitor component inventory to ensure sufficient supply for each work order.
• Interface with warehouse personnel to verify component accuracy and staging, preventing production delays.
• Maintain all materials required for work orders and take corrective action when shortages occur.
• Remove waste from the line as needed to maintain a clean work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; familiarity with manufacturing or material‑handling environments is a plus.
• Ability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodation.
• U.S. work authorization and residence within commuting distance of Ontario, California.
