Marketing Proposal Specialist

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring a Marketing Proposal Specialist to manage RFP, RFI, RFQ and rebid submissions for new and existing clients. The role partners with Sales, Operations and Pricing to coordinate timelines, write and edit compelling content and deliver accurate, compliant proposals on time. It also maintains proposal library content and supports sales presentations. The position is hybrid, with four days per week onsite in the Tampa, FL office, and candidates must live within commuting distance of Tampa.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for all RFI, RFQ and RFP requests and manage bid platforms for submissions
• Analyze solicitation documents to ensure compliance with technical and operational requirements
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Pricing to gather information and conduct fact-finding calls to clarify scope
• Write, edit, format and tailor proposal responses using the company's proposal library and software systems
• Compile content into professionally formatted proposals and quotes, and provide daily status updates on active proposals and deadlines
• Maintain electronic proposal files and the proposal library software, complete pre-qualification and vendor registration documents, and support post-submission follow-up

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or an Associate's degree with at least three years of experience managing or supporting proposal development
• At least two years of proposal development and administrative experience
• Experience responding to government or commercial RFPs (service industry preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong organization, attention to detail and writing/editing skills

• Salary of $60,000 - $70,000
