Manufacturing Training Program Leader

About the role

Join Dowty Propellers, a GE Aerospace Company, as a Manufacturing Training Program Leader. You will drive data‑driven training initiatives, manage curriculum, onboard new staff, and ensure training effectiveness aligns with site safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training gaps through assessments and design relevant curriculum using adult‑learning methods.
• Develop and deliver training programs for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of propellers and related systems.
• Apply FLIGHT DECK principles to continuously improve manufacturing training, work instructions and quality standards.
• Oversee onboarding, skill development and leadership training aligned with SQDC priorities.
• Facilitate classroom sessions, mentoring, coaching and workshops; support on‑the‑job trainers.
• Collect feedback, analyse performance data and recommend improvements.
• Manage training‑related technology and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED with at least four years of training or educational experience.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of both traditional and modern training methodologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
