Manufacturing Test Engineer

About the role

FHP Manufacturing, a joint venture between Bosch Group and Carrier Corporation, seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support testing and programming operations for geothermal and water source heat pumps. The role serves as the first escalation point for test and programming issues, ensuring production targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide rapid support for Leak Test, Final Run Test, Motor Programming, and Controller Programming.
• Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment, ensuring accessories like thermocouples and control cables are available.
• Report failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and document findings in FPY reports.
• Update work instructions, sequence cards, and Testbuilder software data after failures.
• Train operators on run‑off stations and assist in identifying process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience (7+ years in manufacturing, test, or equipment maintenance).
• Experience with piping schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and compliance with quality standards.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Leak Test, Final Run Test, Motor Programming, Controller Programming.
• Troubleshooting of heat pumps and test equipment.
• FPY reporting and basic problem‑solving techniques.
• Use of Testbuilder software, scripting, Boolean logic, and complex testing algorithms.
• Interpretation of schematics and wiring diagrams.
