About the role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027 to join Saronic Technologies’ manufacturing engineering team. The intern will work on hands‑on projects that enhance the efficiency and processes used to build our autonomous service vessels.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in projects aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency and processes.
- Conduct time studies and analyze production workflows.
- Support floor organization and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Design and implement light tooling or fixtures for assembly or fabrication.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing data and documentation systems.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and fabrication teams.
Required profile
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in hands‑on manufacturing and process improvement.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
