Industrial Engineer

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimise manufacturing and operational processes for autonomous surface vessels. You will apply lean, Six Sigma and data‑driven methods to boost efficiency, reduce waste and ensure safe, sustainable production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise material flow across manufacturing processes.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to improve cycle times and throughput.
• Conduct data analysis and generate actionable insights for process improvement.
• Develop and refine production workflows for efficient use of materials, components and labour.
• Support the creation and tracking of performance metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and operations teams to enhance manufacturability.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, quality issues and other inefficiencies.
• Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Provide guidance and training on lean, Six Sigma and data‑analytics techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning and workflow optimisation.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with high‑tech, defence or maritime production environments.
