Manufacturing Engineer – Brownwood, TX

About the role

3M is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Brownwood, TX facility. You will work with global teams to improve production performance, drive continuous improvement, and apply lean methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Improve key performance measures such as OEE/CEE, production rates, yields, and equipment uptime.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Tier Process to identify and resolve top operational issues.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects for assigned products and processes, reducing variability.
• Troubleshoot product and process performance problems, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement robust solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed before start date.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically or internationally.
