About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer 1 based in Oklahoma City, you will help bring innovative medical technologies from concept to production. You will work with cross‑functional teams to develop robust manufacturing processes, improve product manufacturability, and support successful product launches that positively impact patients' lives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing methods and processes for new and existing products.
- Partner with Product Development Engineers to improve manufacturability, cost, and performance.
- Lead process development, validation, characterization, and continuous‑improvement activities.
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives through process optimization and capital equipment projects.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Tool Design, Maintenance, and suppliers to establish efficient manufacturing solutions.
- Support risk‑management activities, including risk analysis, mitigation, and control.
- Create and refine manufacturing specifications, process documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Utilize statistical tools and data analysis to evaluate process capability and performance.
Required profile
- U.S. sponsorship or H‑1B transfer not available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of engineering experience in new‑process or new‑product development, cost reduction, or capital equipment acquisition.
- Knowledge of GD&T and experience with Six Sigma, process mapping, FMEA, MSA, and other risk‑analysis tools.
- Design experience (product, fixturing, gauging, tooling, etc.).
- Strong data‑analysis and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work well in teams and with suppliers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PLM/Revision Control software.
