Managing Technical Architect

About the role

ePlus Technology is seeking a Managing Technical Architect to lead a diverse team of consultants and ensure the successful delivery of complex multi‑vendor IT projects. The role blends leadership, client engagement, and deep technical expertise to drive quality and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering growth, inclusivity, and high performance.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout all engagement phases, ensuring satisfaction.
• Oversee hiring, training, and professional development for the services team.
• Manage internal training workshops, quality assurance, and technical development.
• Perform pre‑sales engineering tasks, including BOM assistance, SOW creation, and solution design.
• Provide technical oversight across project lifecycles and act as escalation point for engineers.
• Engage with manufacturers, stay current on products, and build vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of hands‑on IT experience.
• 5+ years in a consultant or architect role.
• Multiple industry‑recognized certifications (e.g., CCIE, VCP, NACP, CISSP).
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Ability to design, implement, and support IT solutions across multiple technologies.
