Managing Consultant – Business Analyst (Capital Markets Operations)

About the role

Delta Capita is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic transformation programme for a leading investment‑banking client. The role will improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance margin‑call and payment accuracy, and drive sustainable process improvements across Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct current‑state process assessments and end‑to‑end process mapping.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks and control weaknesses.
• Design target‑state operating models, workflows and control frameworks.
• Document business requirements, operating procedures, controls and process flows.
• Lead workshops with Operations, Business, Risk and Change stakeholders.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, support implementation of process improvements and track remediation actions.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in financial services, preferably in banking middle‑office operations.
• Proven experience delivering operations change and process‑improvement initiatives in investment‑banking or capital‑markets environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, working with senior Operations, Business and Change functions.

Required skills

• Process mapping and workflow design.
• Understanding of operational controls, governance and risk frameworks.

What we offer

• Salary range $100,000‑$120,000 per year, dependent on experience.
