Manager, Visual Operations & Strategic Initiatives

About the role

The Visual Merchandising Manager, Operations & Strategic Initiatives supports area-specific strategic visual initiatives that inform, promote and enhance the customer experience in stores. The role builds strong cross-functional, internal and external partnerships to deliver an integrated in-store experience for the brand, customers and the business. It reports to the Senior Visual Merchandiser, Operations & Strategic Initiatives and has no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on visual strategy, developing project plans with cross-functional partners at the Store Support Center, the field and agencies/vendors (25%)
• Manage projects end to end, including tracking, reporting, site visits and audits (20%)
• Partner with the Senior Visual Merchandiser to identify customer experience opportunities and review client strategy (15%)
• Influence partners such as agencies, vendors and clients to ensure accuracy and speed to market (15%)
• Use customer insights, industry trends and best practices to drive creative solutions (10%)
• Attend client support and kick-off meetings to understand strategic objectives (10%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience
• Preferred: knowledge of visual merchandising and store operations
• Preferred: ability to identify visual merchandising opportunities and propose creative solutions

Required skills

• Project management and cross-functional multi-project management
• Strong computer skills, especially PowerPoint, MS Project and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
