Manager, Tumor Registry (Remote)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a remote Manager to lead its Tumor Registry. This senior‑level position oversees registry staff, ensures data quality, and supports compliance with federal, state and accrediting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality processes to guarantee the integrity of registry data.
• Report registry data in accordance with federal, state, local laws and accrediting standards.
• Perform statistical analysis and create graphical presentations of registry information.
• Support recruitment, orientation, development and performance enhancement of registry staff.
• Attend tumor board meetings, record minutes and disseminate findings.
• Develop methods for collecting, storing, retrieving and reporting patient medical information and statistics.
• Establish, assess and continuously improve internal controls and ensure compliance with university policies.
• Train employees on internal controls, university policies and regulatory procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tumor registry management, health data analysis or a related area.
