Manager, Third Party Risk Management

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Manager to lead its Third‑Party Risk Management function within the Enterprise Security Services organization. The role combines strategic oversight, compliance management, and day‑to‑day operational leadership to help the firm make informed risk‑based decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑disciplinary third‑party risk strategy, covering operational, cyber, information handling, physical security, and resiliency risks.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with internal leaders, evaluate compliance activities, and drive risk‑reduction methodologies.
• Oversee technology systems supporting the risk program and assess changes in the operating landscape to recommend strategic adjustments.
• Provide direct compliance oversight, lead small to medium projects, manage deadlines, and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of recent third‑party or vendor risk, compliance, or related experience in a large professional services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Relevant certifications such as CRVPM or CTPRP are preferred.
• Ability to analyze technical data and communicate findings to non‑technical audiences.
