Manager, Security Operations Center and Badging

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Manager, Security Operations Center and Badging in Goodyear, Arizona. The manager oversees the Security Operations Center (SOC) and access control/badging administration for Samsung locations, ensuring continuous monitoring of security systems, proper credential management, coordination of emergency communications and incident escalation. The role also involves leading SOC and badging staff, conducting CCTV investigations and working with internal stakeholders and law enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily SOC operations, including monitoring alarms, CCTV and access control systems, and coordinate incident response and emergency communications
• Select and place SOC and badging personnel, handle disciplinary actions, develop performance improvement plans and career development, and run training and quality assurance programs
• Manage badge issuance, replacements and deactivations, and oversee role-based and location-based access permissions
• Maintain accurate records in Lenel and V2 systems and ensure processes match onboarding and offboarding procedures
• Conduct CCTV investigations, collaborate with investigators and law enforcement, and follow legal and ethical standards
• Audit CCTV, access control, badge readers, alarms and visitor management systems weekly, and coordinate repairs, upgrades and testing with vendors and IT
• Develop SOPs, guidance documents and training materials, and set and track KPIs for SOC performance and response times
• Provide metrics on visitors, badge issuance, system issues and incident trends, and recommend process improvements and cost savings
• Ensure compliance with client policies, company procedures and regulations, support audits, identify vulnerabilities and keep incident and audit documentation accurate

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of security operations experience in a SOC, command center or 911 operations setting
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Licensing may be required depending on state and local laws

Required skills

• Experience with access control, badging and CCTV monitoring
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Incident analysis, investigative and reporting skills
• Preferred: Lenel and V2 systems, network basics (Ethernet, TCP/IP), and experience coordinating with law enforcement
