Manager, Online Pricing

About the role

The Manager, Online Pricing leads the teams responsible for improving processes and engaging suppliers around the rapid assortment expansion of homedepot.com and the item troubleshooting that follows. The manager creates and implements processes that make online merchandising data management more efficient for both ecommerce and store products, and coordinates with internal and external vendors to meet deadlines, budgets and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the execution of complex special programs involving business-to-business customers and internal functions (30%).
• Create and implement processes to optimize product data collection, and enroll internal functions and external partners in workflow procedures and their continuous improvement (20%).
• Coordinate and lead internal functions in running promotions and data collection on homedepot.com (20%).
• Work with internal and external customers to develop processes for timely product data collection, using workload management to communicate with merchants (10%).
• Manage outside vendors so programs run on time and within budget, manage projects and the allocation of funds to meet budget and segment goals (10%).
• Troubleshoot and solve ongoing operational issues as they arise (10%).

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred: understanding of basic corporate financial practices.
• Preferred: experience in vendor management, marketing, ecommerce and merchandising.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5 years of work experience preferred.
• Reports to the Senior Manager, Online Merch Solutions, with 0-5 direct reports; typically less than 10% overnight travel.

Required skills

• Well-developed oral and written presentation skills.
• Computer skills, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Ability to stay composed and productive in a dynamic environment, approach problems systematically and be deadline-oriented.
