Manager, Financial Statement Audit

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to lead financial statement audit engagements across multiple locations. The role involves overseeing audit strategy, execution, and client relationships while mentoring staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare audit strategy, plan and execute audits, and set engagement budgets.
• Identify, supervise, and mentor audit staff to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Integrate overseas resources and leverage AI, advanced analytics, and data visualizations for efficient execution.
• Participate in proposal processes for new clients and projects.
• Maintain strong client service, deliver high‑quality work, and strengthen relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and active US CPA license.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a virtual team.
• Experience mentoring staff and managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• US GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
• Internal controls expertise.
• Proficiency with audit tools, AI, advanced analytics, data visualization, and process flow automation.
