Make-Ready Specialist for Apartment Turnover

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make‑Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at the Citadel at Lookout community in Selma, Texas. The role focuses on completing repairs, cleaning, and finishing tasks to ensure each unit meets the company’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all required repairs and improvements according to the community’s make‑ready checklist, including caulking, sealing, and sheetrock repair.
• Touch‑up paint vacant and occupied units as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing parts instead of replacing them and using materials efficiently.
• Complete all required documentation and checklists in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and report incidents promptly.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints with urgency.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 25 lb independently and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to respond to on‑call duties.
