Maintenance Technician with $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position includes a $1,000 sign‑on bonus and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• EPA certifications Type 1, Type 2 or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license (required to operate a golf cart on larger properties).
