Maintenance Technician – Village at Fox Point

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Village at Fox Point property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. Responsibilities include responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Must hold EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type I, Type II, Universal).
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Proficiency with standard maintenance tools and equipment.
