Maintenance Technician – Trails at Hunters Lake

About the role

This position provides technical and mechanical support to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas at Hunters Lake meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety protocols and code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory management.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, lift equipment and work outdoors.
