About the role

The Senior Construction Superintendent leads the high‑quality assembly of homes, ensuring projects stay on schedule, meet safety standards, and achieve strong customer satisfaction. This senior‑level position combines hands‑on site management with strategic support to the broader construction department.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete construction process from rough‑in to trim, delivering homes on the committed schedule.
• Maintain an accident‑free work environment while upholding high quality standards.
• Assist management in recruiting subcontractors and refining vendor scopes of work.
• Lead improvements to construction plans and provide leadership across the department.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, OSHA, and EPA regulations.

Required profile

• Assertive, tenacious, and consistently meets deadlines.
• Ability to influence teams and get results independently or collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of all construction stages, codes, and safety guidelines.
• Experience in a production home‑building environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; minimal travel required.
• Own or lease a truck, valid driver’s license with insurance, and a cell phone with data plan.
