Maintenance Technician – The Lofts at Brownwood

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, restock and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Perform grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify quality, scope and compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.
• Commitment to safety policies, participation in OSHA training and reporting of incidents.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type I, Type II, Universal).
• State‑specific service technician certifications.
