Groundskeeper – The Lofts at Brownwood

About the role

The Lofts at Brownwood is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the visual appeal and safety of the community’s outdoor spaces and amenities. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will ensure that all common areas are clean, well‑kept, and meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool‑area gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to change locks and ensure pool gate safety in compliance with codes.
• Strong attention to safety, with willingness to report hazards and attend safety training.
• Customer‑service orientation, treating residents and team members with respect.
