Maintenance Technician – Riverside Station

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Riverside Station property in Arlington, Virginia. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance across the property to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used and completed tasks.
• Ensure all work areas comply with cleanliness, appearance and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in building systems is a plus.
• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and coordinating with vendors.
