Maintenance Technician – Renaissance Santa Rosa

About the role

Greystar is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician for the Renaissance Santa Rosa community in Mary Esther, Florida. The role ensures that the building’s physical systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Perform general grounds upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to be on‑call during evenings, weekends and holidays and to travel occasionally to other properties.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
