Maintenance Technician – Prose Columbus

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Prose Columbus property. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and complete preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, conducting pre‑move‑out inspections and preparing units for new lease‑ups.
• Maintain a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies and ensure continuous property operations.
• Document work performed, update maintenance logs and communicate status to property management.

Required profile

• Technical aptitude for building systems and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
