Engineering Support Specialist II – Energy Site Development

About the role

Woolpert is looking for an Engineering Support Specialist II to join its Energy Civil Engineering Site Development team. The role supports engineers by gathering, editing, and managing site‑specific data, permitting packages, and technical reports while ensuring documentation accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers in researching, compiling, and editing site‑specific information, project notes, permitting packages, and technical deliverables.
• Support proposal and change‑order preparation by gathering information and editing documents for clarity and consistency.
• Enter project data and labor projections into Microsoft 365 applications and generate related reports and spreadsheets.
• Audit project documents, file structures, and records to maintain accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to identify and resolve documentation or process issues, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Interest in civil engineering, earth sciences, construction, or related industries.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and technical professionals to gather and organize information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
