Concrete Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations for self‑perform concrete projects in Columbus. The role involves coordinating crews, managing logistics, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in concrete work and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field teams across multiple concrete projects.
• Plan site logistics, manpower, material, and equipment requirements.
• Develop and maintain schedules, track time, and monitor project budgets.
• Ensure safety compliance, complete documentation, and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Supervise trades and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and quality workmanship.
• Work closely with project management to align on schedule and budget targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with a focus on concrete operations.
• At least 3 years serving as a Lead Superintendent or equivalent supervisory role.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in construction management or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and cost‑control practices.
