Maintenance Technician – Park Crossing

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Park Crossing community—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position works a standard Monday‑Friday schedule with on‑call duties as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on maintenance or facilities experience.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for on‑call coverage.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on larger properties).
